SEC announces 8th annual "We Back Pat" Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference in cooperation with its 14-member institutions announces the eighth annual "We Back Pat" Week, a week-long initiative focused on bringing awareness and recognition to the Pat Summitt Foundation, a fund of East Tennessee Foundation, and its fight against Alzheimer's disease.
SEC member institutions will support The Pat Summitt Foundation during their home basketball games, January 20-27. During the women's games slated for the week, various efforts will be made to increase awareness of The Pat Summitt Foundation.

You know I get that people are ambivalent towards charities and so forth, I am as well, but to take the time to downvote folks who endeavor to help is kind of janky at the very least, and possibly downright mean.
I've spoke my peace and I will hush now, but Pat was a hell of a person and we need a few more like her.

Alzheimer's is perhaps the worst disease out there. There are many things that can kill you. Alzheimer's can make you... not you.
If you can give, then give. BigDgator is in the right here. This is a worthy and noble cause.
I reserve the right to cheer against Florida in football though. I'm just saying.
