lol I remember after Week 1 when everyone on this board thought the SEC was good.

I remember when LSU wasn't an embarressment to the conference.

Not sure how the Big 12 got high a high ranking. They have two top 5 caliber teams and TCU, WVU, TCU and MAYBE Texas are decent but not great.

The rest completely suck.

No doubt that the Sec,as of today, is not very strong at the top. If you take Bama, who is the best, and Mizzou, who is the worst, out then what do you have? I think the 12 remaining teams are not great but are good. Vandy beat # 18 Kstate. S.Carolina beat NcSt. Msu even though it was in conference, beat Lsu. The so called bottom of the conference is much better. While weaker at the top, their are atleast 10 teams in the conference that can play with most teams in the country, outside the top 10. Unfortunately, from a championship perspective, Bama is the only real team,as of today

It has worked for Finebaum, why wouldn't it work for rye mothership?

Wait until you get an "SEC WHEEL OF DESTINY" like ESPN used to tease the ACC about:

I can't disagree. SEC was 3rd last year

The SEC's 2nd best team last year

Not talking about last year and neither were the host.

Everyone else has caught up

Who exactly has "caught up" this year? Big 12? OU and maybe OSU,outside of that, what exactly do you have?Texas lost to Maryland and KSU last to Vanda

ACC?Maybe but the jury is still out THIS YEAR.3-1 vs them this year and AU gave Clemson all they could handle and held them to their lowest rushing total
In 2 years.

Big 10?We'll see.PSU and UM look like very good teams
but I'm not sure I'd hang my hat on either Whisky or OSU

Pac 12? Not even those ESPN idiots could make an argument for em.BTW their arguments changed has they started to evaluate each conference.

SEC was certainly down last year but if you want to make statements in regards to this year you might want to let the season play out a little or do legitimate
comparisons to what's gone on this year from TOP to BOTTOM in each conference.

Isn't an 0-1 FSU ranked 12 when other schools have played 3 games by now? WTF?

To be fair..they were rank 3rd when Alabama beat them and they had that whole devastating Hurricane come through Florida and that screwed things up...

Maybe. But if other schools have played MORE than you, you should drop due to that!
