Florida is ranked 100th among teams in total offense and is 114th in passing offense. They rush the ball well and don't turn it over but they are far from a prolific offense.

I realize that but we hardly have any playmakers on the WR corps, and also Driskel is still coming along (but has gotten better over time). Running the ball effectively was something that this team has to do, and having a system that works with the QBs skillset well is worthy of credit for BP.

I think the big thing is finding an offense that looks somewhat competent, something that didn't apply in 2010 with Addazio or 2011 with Weis.

I like Pease as well, but if you look at the actual yards UF puts up, it's quite paltry in comparison to most schools. They had under 200 yards of offense vs. USCe, yet scored 38+ points. 'Sides Gilislee, they are short on playmakers.

1 Yard td drives will make a coordinator look pretty good. They get a lot of short fields.

Pease is so much better than the Dazzler and Jabba the Weis it's unbelievable.

MSU fans may support Les Koenning who has the Bulldogs' offense avg 416 ypg with 184 ypg rushing and the SEC's leading rusher in Ladarius Perkins. His QB, Tyler Russell, avg over 230 ypg passing and has thrown 15 tds and only 1 pick.

I don't think any State fans would argue this... His playcalling at times is terrible and Mullen lets him know about it too. Plus, with an offensive-minded HC, it is hard for the OC to get much credit.

I really like what Pease is doing down at Florida. Once they get they players to run that system, they will be very dangerous.

I'm not totally sold on aTm's offense. Every team in the West, besides Arkansas, traditionally has a good defense. Every team. I'm not sure that offense is going to work over the long term in the SEC West. Give the West teams a year or two to figure it out and I see it being shut down on the regular. Not to mention that all of the running around JFF does is a recipe for disaster. The schedule is too long and brutal to risk your QB taking a lot of hard hits.

Not sure who the "best" is, but I cannot wait to see UF get some playmakers in at WR, so Pease can really show off his creativity. We have seen a ton of new looks in the run game, but have yet to see much in the passing game. Things should get interesting next year with some help.

This guy. Had to implement new system.

Good playcaller, but is using the same system already implemented and has a very capable experienced qb to work with.

Could be this guy too

Nuss has been giving AJ the opportunity to air it out, so I like Nuss a lot. AJ is in the damn Heisman race, even though he won't win it. Who would have thought that AJ would be in the spotlight?

I considered him a top 5 qb in the country even before the season began.

I agree with this. Right now he's just trying not to fit a square peg into a round hole. Pretty hard to argue they haven't looked efficient with they're trying to do. His offense isn't glitz and glamour but they're paying attention to detail and are on the same page.

Give it time and they'll be very dangerous.

Was Alabama's offensive coordinator under Franchione. Solid Coordinator. We had a pretty good offense under him. He really utilized Tyler Watts well, integrating the option in the offense. Was fun to watch...... I used a lot of short sentences......

Damn, I was gonna say Yost but he was the first fricking name mentioned!

What other talented OC could take the SPREAD offense and rank 108 in the country in passing yards and rank 100+ in total offense too.
