They are on the brink of breaking through. They are creating strange ways to lose these days. They will get at least one SEC win. If Gurley isn't back, very well could be in LR.

Honest question -- how bad will the melt be if Bert gets his first SEC dubya against Georgia this weekend? Are Dawg fans the melting sort?

My take

Group 1: State
Group 2: OM,Aub
Group 3: Bama,UGA
Group 4: LSU, aTm, Ark, Florida, Tenn, UK
Group 5: USC, Mizzou
Group 6: Vandy

Maybe OM is in State's league. We'll see.

We've already lost to a miserable USCe team, so you may disappointed in the potential melt. If Gueley doesn't come back and we lose, then there will be a very minor melt. If Gurley does come back and we lose, then there will be some melt.

That all makes a lot of sense.

I think so for sure.

Yeah of all the teams left on our schedule, I would expect the least melt out of UGA and Mizzou. Now if by some stroke of luck we were able to beat an undefeated Ole Miss or State then we would probably witness the most glorious melt the rant has ever seen.

Probably not going to come close to happening but a man can dream.

If we lose to Arky, we will have lost a few more along the way (this is true even if we don't lose to Arky). So we'll probably have pretty low expectations by that point. The melt will be pre-empted.
