I guess that explains why Bama had more passing attempts, completions and yards than Ole Miss last season.

Kelly would have to be awful to not have some success with your WR's. I think he will turn it over too much- but he will certainly complete some passes and move the ball.

To a degree. Kiffin likes to throw it but I think that had more to do with their running game not being up to par with their usual standards and they had Amari Cooper to throw to.

Bama threw it more because Freeze got scared of Bo turning it over and limited the offense, since the defense was playing so well. I expect more passes this year from Ole Miss, but also more from Bama. Bama is probably top 3.

South Carolina was in the top five 7 of the 10 years under Spurrier - the 3 times we weren't, 2 of those we finished 6th and the other 7th. We have a number of questions about our offense this coming season, but it wouldn't surprise me if we end up in the top 5 again, nor should it surprise anyone else.

We've had some pretty bad offenses under Spurrier in the early days, with huge questions at QB and atrocious OLs, and still managed to end up in the top 5. If I was betting man, I'd bet my money on USC being a top passing team in the SEC before betting on them not being one...

My biggest worry with him is him trying to force the issue on some throws. All quarterbacks do it from time to time but it doesn't need to happen almost every drive. He comes off as a "I can make this throw and I'm going to do what I want" type of person but I hope Freeze can change that. I'm still not thrilled that we kept him on the team after his incident in Buffalo.

A&M will be #1 by virtue of their offense every year.

Yep. After the LSU debacle, Freeze went into full conservative mode except for the Egg Bowl.

Hell he went into before that. Memphis and A&M come to mind.

Didnt have a choice- you're a 6-6 team with Blade or the Prepster at QB

I can understand why he did it against Memphis since we played Alabama the next weekend he didn't want to give too much away. Maybe he went conservative against A&M after he saw we had control of the game after we went 99 yards for a touchdown.

Looking back on it, he still opened it up a bit in the Auburn game but that could have been a result of Auburn's defense being horrible.

To win in the SEC this year, teams can not depend on only being one dimensional. A&M and UGA fit that mode with their passing and running games.

We hired a new run game coordinator. Run game will be improved this year.

Top 3 Pass Offense
Guaranteed best run Offense

Even a marginal defense will suffice with this kind of offense.

I just want Williams and Chubb to gain more than 1200 each, receiving and running.

We have one of the top three proven quarterbacks coming back along with the deepest WR group in the conference, and we're not top five? LOL
