Georgia has more than twice as many players on this list as VOLS do yet VOLS have 3x as many national championships.
All of our players listed are from post-1970. UTk has 1 national title since then.
Correction - Jake Scott was driving his motorcycle over the spine of a then-new Stegeman Coliseum when UTk won their last title before the 98 season (67).

All of our players are post-1950, we have 4 (claimed) since then

Bob Suffridge was a three-time All-America O-lineman for UTK. He was on the college football 100th anniversary all-time team.
He simply must be on there, and first team at that.
But the kid who made that list was probably born in 1985 or something.

3 of which came in the 17 year stretch from 1950-67.

No O-linemen are included but your protest is noted.

I am outraged that our guy didn't make the list of something that wasn't listed.

List seems on the up and up if this was the protocol
Athletes who performed as SEC players plucked out of their prime and put on today's football field.
ie. pretty much the elimination of all but the toughest sobs pre-1970s.
So college greats like Don Hutson, Frank Sinkwich, Joe Namath, Pat Sullivan etc are passed over for more recent greats.

How in the blue hell is Reggie White not in the two deep? Should be a starter but definitely in the two deep.

Alabama would have at least 3. John Hannah, Dwight Stephenson, and Barret Jones.

Guessing you weren't born when Cornelius Bennett played.

No Special Teams players either. I'm sure all of us could name a few incredible players from those areas for each school.

set many SEC records (I believe only 1 still stands) and was the go-to receiver for 3 of his 4 years on campus. you make it sound like he sucked or something.
