possible but if he was to fail i could see them taking it out on ohio state. if they want to take somebody out they can find ways and enforce every rule on that school and id imagine they would go after a school if a player from that school was to go after them

NCAA better worry about bigger fish than it's schools and conferences..

If Emmert(off to a real pussif!ed start as HNIC) and Co don't start acting the part of a true unbiased tax-exempt organization that is out for all, not just the power programs, and/or in it's own erratic applications of "justice"..

Congress, etc..may again open it up to question over it's tax exemption, BCS, NCAA Tourney, etc.. and it's need to be regulated in some form.

The NCAA isn't doing a very good job of deflecting heat upon itself..it is drawing it like a magnet with it's silly rulings of late.

I do too, and it would only make the NCAA worse. But, the NCAA needs to get their act together, or will keep having Congress snooping and threatening action, every so many years.

The NCAA's job is to try and maintain a level playing field for all of its members, basically to establish and enforce the rules. It is my opinion that they are becomming an even bigger joke than they always have been and it is impossible to say their recent decisions aren't heavily influenced by outside factors($$$$$). They actually expect us to believe that the violation by Cecil Newton was discovered by Auburn the Monday after the SECCG.

I'll show you an LSU program that has been penalized less than any school in the SEC not named Vanderbilt.

How about that?

Auburn fan All-In. It has been corrupt at the Cow college from the very beginning. The last 30 years have taken it to a level. SMU part 2.

It was not "well said". Every program in America has extra benefits given to their players and it's foolish to assume otherwise. College football is a bonafide semi-professional sport.

Now that might be a bit extreme, but there isn't a compliance office, coaching staff, AD, whatever that's going to have a completely "clean program". And you try to have an organization like the NCAA act as a deterrent to receiving those extra benefits, but they cannot enforce their legislation equally across the spectrum, and it's bullshite.

Except all things being "equal", Auburn has been penalized the most in the SEC, and one of the most in all of CFB.

So if anyone's cheating, Auburn is the one doing it. And for as long as you care to go back.

Auburn delenda est.
