Because a Bama fan/booster/whatever would know what happened in Auburn's locker room? Man, why won't that guy just go away. I'm starting to think any airtime he gets is part of an Auburn conspiracy to make Alabama fans look nuttier than we already are.

Were there any co-authors to the ATPB part 1-56?

I've never heard of the guy, but he must be pretty stupid to have a loser like Moore on his show.

I'm not exaggerating; he's probably the worst sports personality I've ever heard, and ESPN Radio in Chattanooga has him on from 3 to 6 PM every weekday.

I just Googled "Nick Bonsanto sucks" and found the excerpt in the next paragraph on a UTk message board. Hopefully, it will help you better understand what I have to deal with in Chattanooga. FTR, the connection Nick Bonsanto was always talking about turned out to be Scott Moore, and Nick talked about how Auburn was going down pretty much every day through the whole ordeal. He still hasn't backed down.

"To most of you I am sure this is old news. There is a local show on the ESPN affiliate hosted by a guy by the name of Nick Bonsanto. This radio program sucks hard. All he wants to talk about is how much he hates Brett Favre and Michael Vick. Or, he talks about the Eagles....a lot. Oh yeah, and every chance he gets he bashes the Vols. Anyway, a couple of months ago when the Cam Newton stuff first broke he was talking big about some connection he had that had some really bad dirt on Auburn and the whole Newton deal and their recruiting practices in general. At that time he made reference to an upcoming HBO special specifically about the Newton/Auburn deal.

So, today he started in on that again and according to him, when this show airs all hell is going to break loose. His words were something to the effect of the SMU sanctions will look like a slap on the wrist compared to what Auburn is facing.

Now, like I said in the opening paragraph, this Bonsanto guy is a real prize. He's right here in the middle of Tennessee and all he does is bash the Vols. On top of that, his show is boring. The only reason I ever listen is because there is an hour between the syndicated programs and local radio where nothing is on the air but him.

My question to you all is: will Auburn come out of this unscathed or are there hards times on the horizon for the Plainsmen?"

Mike Shula was fired because he couldn't beat UT, LSU, Arky, or Auburn. Hard to win the west when you can't beat any of those teams. I think he was something like 2-14 against these 4 teams.

So if he was 12-4(0-4 against AU) he would not have lost his job. I wonder if Bill Curry knew that.

I'm thinking...my bosses come in and basically say I'm fired to pack up and leave....if I have a contract for 1.3mill, I'm not looking for a job to make 6-700K. I'm sitting right there till they fire me. For every year they pay me at 1.3 means I would basically have to work 2 at the other job. Personally, I don't see that locker room incident happening

As an LSU fan, and a rational human, I find the scenario to be preposterous and do not believe it happened, in any form.

Mike Shula was fired because he couldn't beat a lot of teams. Bill Curry was fired because he couldn't beat AU. Get your facts straight.

After Alabama beat Auburn, Pat Dye went into the locker room and told Malzahn and Roof they needed to find another job, right in front of the players. Now that Lowder is gone... Pat Dye chooses the coaches... he chooses the athletic director...he runs things. Scott says Auburn always freaks out and overreacts when Alabama beats them. That's the only reason Roof and Malzahn are gone.

Nice work, Corch Dye.

I don't see a problem here.

Bill Curry

Ray Perkins

Oh, I forgot... both of those guys left "on their own" for brighter opportunities... like the Tampa Bay Succaneers and the Kentucky Wildcats.

There are only one or two decent radio stations in Chattanooga. I always end up flipping over to ESPN Radio during commercials to find that idiot's show. I admit that sometimes I can't turn it off because I'm just waiting for someone to call in and dispute the ridiculous things he says. Listening to his show is like watching a trainwreck.
