Great, so knowing that 2016 and 2017 have yet to be filled, look at that schedule and tell me what was going on at Mississippi State when there is a streak longer than 2 years with no P5 school other than the SEC on the schedule.

If you are counting Tulane, you've got a bunch of adding to do...

Cool, looks like you guys are set for the next 10 years then.
Was obviously just a planned stretch due to the program's state. Makes sense. Just wanted to know if you guys missed having marquee OOC games.

Tulane wasn't a Power 5 team then now they are in the American so......I guess that isn't Power 5 now either.
Houston would fall in that category too.

No. We don't.
But you could have figured that out from the 2 other threads in which you have been told.

Nobody had told me anything in the (1) overall thread not focued on MSU or (2) the actual troll thread for kicks and giggles.
Thanks.

I think our OOC games are also somewhat chosen to help recruiting. I like the idea that we are starting to schedule Southern Miss. Both Miss State and Ole Miss went years without playing them and I think it is great for football in this state that it has been added to the schedule. For both Ole Miss and Mississippi State, most of the players come from the State, from the mid to western TN, and from the western part of Alabama. The graduates that leave the State usually take jobs in Memphis, Birmingham, and Atlanta. I think playing teams like Memphis, UAB. etc are good for both recruiting and for allowing alumni the opportunity to see more games.

If you don't think that stretch wasn't orchestrated you are an even bigger idiot than you let on.

Do you guys dislike the fact that you NEVER see good teams from other programs?
No...not really. Kansas State doesn't interest me...they are a pretty solid program. Playing Wake Forest or anyone else would interest me just as much.
Apparently our AD contacted Notre Dame, but they don't really have any interest in playing us. Nothing to gain from beating us, and it looks bad for them if they lose.
The only scheduled OOC game that I am envious of is the LSU @ Wisconsin game, and that is only because it is at Lambeau.
