This has been the strangest season.

1 home night game. ONE! First time I've ever gone to all the home games aside from my student years of course. And it's the shittiest year since I've followed closely (I'm 27 and grew up a Gamecock but I don't remember watching before the Holtz years).

We definitely had a lot of JP Sports Game of the Week showcases during the Holtz era.

Usce has been playing better.

Close game.

I think this is going to be very close. UF has been trending down on offense, and the defense is without it's best DL in Bullard and is missing 3 total guys on the DL.

They will be thin there.

I think South Carolina will try to run the ball as much as possible to avoid throwing against this secondary.

I think the run will get more successful as the game goes along. I think that it will be decided by a TD or less, and I think mostly turnovers will determine how things go.

If Florida goes back to protecting the ball, I think they win. If they turn it over like they did against Vandy - USCe pulls the upset.

They won't. Vandy's defense is light years ahead of South Carolina's. They'd have beaten us if they got their shite together on offense.

I went back and checked, South Carolina has been really bad on defense. I mean really bad. They've been much better on offense since the interim coach took over, but the defense has still been really really bad.

Unless Florida has a meltdown, I think Florida should win this game. I still worry a bit about South Carolina's run game against a depleted DL, but I think if the offense can hold on to the ball a bit that won't matter as much.

Clempson is SC's bowl game. You guys are just another game on the schedule.

I think we lose a close one. I kind of feel like we have one big win in us, and I don't want to waste it on UF.

We'll save that for Clemson

Apparently, neither fan base feels very good about this game. I'm guessing the Vandy debacle, will help the Gators, but the D-line is missing some bodies. Would be pretty surprised if it's not close.

It all just falls into place for the Gators plan of playing dead, so Bama rest their starters in the SECC.

I'm gonna pick UF 16-14 just because SC hasn't shown they can win close games yet, and that can be a tough hump to get over mentally (see UT's first 5 games of the season.) I do think it will be close, and I wouldn't be very surprised if SC pulls it off. UF's offense is sputtering and SC continues to play better each week, Dunno if Elliott is the right man for the SC job or not, but I would seriously consider him if I was the AD because he can sure get his players to play.

Excellent choice of unis for the Gators today. It really reps their identity and their fan base. Good for y'all, Gators!

Would not surprise me if we lose. USCe has been playing their best football lately.

This has been the greatest excuse for Georgia and Florida the past few years. Tennessee fans started to say the same thing, but then remembered were South Carolina and started beating us.

Are you going to take what that troll says seriously? He's the only one who feels that way. Most of us know that UF is just another game.
