Wrong order. In terms of academic prestige, Rice always comes first.

no. you can control if calling those people out will make sharing your faith easier.

it all comes back to control

Or a lack of institutional controls, which lead to the article like in OP.

I do like getting Texan opinions on this because I've heard for years from my buddies in college that Baylor is filled with hypocrites. I've never heard much about TCU

Racism was still rampant on both the student body and staff last time I visited the campus. Every minority I've met from Baylor has at least one story of experiencing racism at Baylor. They make Ole Miss look like Buzzfeed with the shite the fake Baptists do and say.

Why do "non-religious types" need any vindication?

It's fine to hold Baylor to a higher standard. Just remember that Sam U never played a down for Baylor.

shite, I'd argue that they already did pre-Penn State.

Even with the murder Penn State still gets the overall edge because it involved children - but Baylor definately has the diversity of crimes angle wrapped up.

dude.

this is the player who raped a girl a boise state, briles knew that, still allowed him to transfer to baylor. raped another girl at baylor. was still on the team after the indictment. Phill Bennett your DC even was quoted as saying " we are looking forward to his return".

both players were still on the team, HOPING everyone looks the other way.

no doubt this is a UT hit piece given the timing but there is no reason both players should even be in Waco proper after the indictments.

for anyone interested in reading about it..

Art Briles has a long history of accepting players, that are admittedly talented, but have serious criminal records and can't play anywhere else.

This situation is the fault of Art Briles and the Baylor Administration that has ignored the penal farm that is Baylor football.

One young lady had her athletic scholarship reduced after she reported a football player had raped her.

Art Briles and Ken Starr are the epitomy of slimeballs.

If ever a school in the modern era deserved to have the NCAA put the boots to them its Baylor. Only instead of "Lack of Institutional Control" it would have to be for "Really Fricked Up Institutional Control".

Hey arsehole. Art Briles has turned Baylor football into a penal farm. And the slimeball Ken Starr is busy covering up the rapes.

This summer Baylor Coaches were quoted in the newspapers as saying, that UKwuachu, who had already been indicted for rape, was expected to be a starter for Baylor.

Boise State's Coach had called Art Briles and warned him not to take this guy on Baylor's team.

don't even think about bringing A&M into this, bear.

quote:

Among Texas universities, A&M has been applauded for its work at curbing sexual violence. NASA commended the university in 2014, saying A&M was “leading the way in efforts to inform its academic community about their rights under Title IX and to engage them in efforts to address sexual harassment and violence.” In a recent nationwide survey of students at major universities, A&M had below-average reports of sexual assault and above-average student confidence in how the university handles such cases.

there is even a federal investigation on whether A&M is too hardlined in its approach to sexual assault cases

Texas Tribune article

bottom line, Baylor turned it's back on these women. that's why I will never send my daughter to Waco. EVER.
