Ridiculous. LSU won't play @ UGA until 2025? Is that for real?

I don't get it honestly. UGA would be better served by dropping Auburn from the yearly schedule and replacing them with an annual match against LSU. Auburn could rotate out with the rest.

LSU vs UGA

It would become a symbiotic relationship for recruiting purposes and a damn fun game one we both could look forward too.

The DSOR is a one way street, Auburn wins the game recruiting advantage.....Auburn loses the game recruiting advantage.

We don't have a modern day interest in recruiting Alabama kids outside the 5* exception, just not enough of them.

When Vince Dooley and Pat Dye were the coaches it made more sense. I think from a fans perspective we have very little in common with that program today and it grows less by the semester.

A nostalgic anachronism for lack of better words.

Onward.

Does anyone here really believe the SEC will still be at 14 by 2020? Odds are there will be 5 16 team Confs.

Drop permanent cross division opponents! THAT is the solution. OR, let the 4 schools who insist on playing each other every year (UGA, bama, AU, Tenn) play every year and the rest of us can rotate.

No it isn't the fix is simpler. Just drop the crappy opponents that litter the OOC for nearly every sec school and play 9 or 10 sec opponents

It's easy for schools whose traditional rivalries are in their division to say" drop the permanent rivalry games".

What if LSU had to not play MSU or OM every year?

The SEC is all about tradition. And over the year things have changed , 10 then 12, now 14. Probably 16 soon. One day you'll look and say where did all the tradition go? There is nothing wrong with schools wanting to hold onto some.

Hate to break it to you, but those 4 teams weren't the only teams that voted to keep the permanent cross division games.

Should have listened to Saban. But really, every player should get to play every team in his 4 year career. That makes sence to me.

Kentucky is going to stomp Alabama so badly at Brooks-Stoops Stadium in 2023.

Just wait on it, gumps.

SEC needs a nine game schedule

If only the other 13 coaches would agree with Saban on this. They all want their 3 free games. I think 2 free games is enough.

Even better is Saban's proposal that Big 5 schools only play other Big 5 schools.

It's pure garbage. Can't wait to see Columbia, MO and Athens in 9 and 11 years, respectively.
