UGA has had success with both but they remain myopic about football. never have understood it. At least they support gymnastics and tennis more than other sports they are competitive in.

We are traditionally good at women's basketball however I would not post threads about it. Should I post about equestrian or women's tennis?

I would say that most college sports fans are indifferent about baseball and womens' basketball.
Those sports matter, but they are niche sports.

March Madness has been great with multiple SEC teams going deep in the tournament.
Women's BB just had 2 (TWO) SEC ladies teams go head to head for the championship.
SEC Women's softball has damn near a dozen teams ranked in the top 25 right now.
Baseball is clicking along nicely with several SEC teams in the hunt.
The discussion on this board is a hell of a lot better than it will be in fricking June & July, before the dreaded SEC Media Days.

Dude, if you have seen any Hog posters talking about winning the West when they weren't outright trolling someone tell them to pass me whatever they are smoking because its some powerful stuff.
Our defense should be better (how could it be worse?) but our offense will probably take a step back. If Bert gets his act together 9-10 wins is possible but won't put us in competition for the West unless this is one of those "Red Wedding" seasons for the SEC.
I think most of us feel that we will be a little bit better then last year and that 2018 would be the year that we have the best chance to make a run.
