If he leaves it is probably because he no longer wants his repuatation damaged by being the coach of the biggest cheaters in the history of football. Any sport really.

Vacation Home....

No worries Coach Smart has got this. No drop off and the changeover will be seamless.

The sips are setting themselves up for a blood bath when they end up getting a coach like Muschamp after getting their collective hopes set on Saban. Even if they get their 2nd choice (whoever that is), it still will be way below their expectations. The poor guy will never stand a chance with the fanbase (or most of the boosters for that matter).

Whew! Thank God! I get it. It's like "insider trading" without being an indsider! To a logical, intelligent human being, this might sound like abject bullshite, but I BELIEVE IN YOU.

Right. Go on...

Or, you know, false, but widely reported. So, that's basically the same thing!

Wow. I sort of expected that you might be less butthurt since Auburn is having a good year, but, you know, that's me - the guy with unrealistic expectations!

If Saban came to Texas Lhn would be picked up across the country and no worries about seeing any game would be around. Texas can put kids in the nfl as good as anywhere else they just have had a shite coach and shite strength program to develop players. Texas needs more discipline and they would start sending guys to the nfl right away.

He either wants to stay and continue his legacy at Bama, or he wants a new experience elsewhere. Money won't be what makes him go to another job, and money won't be what makes him stay put.

Believe it or not, Saban does not want to be a deity...and that is what the Alabama fan base has done to him.

I know for certain that Nick and Terry have never "loved" the University of Alabama. It is a job, just like Miami, just like LSU and just like Texas would be.

I also know for certain they feel suffocated in that hick town in central Alabama.

I am not saying they are leaving...far from it. What I am saying is that if any Bama fan thinks that Saban loves them in the same way they love him, they are very wrong.

There is no loyalty relative to this situation. Texas is intriguing to any coach. They have money, tradition and a recruiting goldmine. He would be a fool not to listen to what they have to say...and he is not a fool.

I don't claim to be an "insider". I claim that I have access to insider information. But let me add this - I admit to coming to this board primarily to joust with the Aggies. Its been give and take and I understand all that crap. We've been trying to "one-up" each other for over 100 years.

But I don't just makeup stuff to be a troll. I have no interest in that. I posted some stuff without linking my source last January and it proved to be true (regarding Saban). You have to decide if I'm sincere or not. College football fans are passionate about their favorite teams. And message boards are a convenient way to vent frustrations, express anger, and downright insult fans of other schools. I don't play that game with something like this. If I post anything that is untrue about this Saban deal, its because I've been given bad information. I'm not making up stuff on the fly. If you want to dismiss my posts as garbage that is fine with me. We are all anonymous here. Nobody gets hurt.

I have absolutely no doubt Wallace Hall has been running around since January saying he contacted Saban's agent and that he did. It's one of the reasons Hall is about to be the first Texas regent ever impeached.

We are still your daddy son. We will always be better than bama even when bama is able to cheat enough to compete on the football field.
