which makes perfect sense, unlike the possibility of Saban going to Texas. There are a lot of beautiful lakes in that area. It would be a great vacation spot.

Lake Travis has some legit problems with the water level/shortage. But overall it's pretty nice out there.

I for one think it would be hilarious watching Saban complain every week on his LHN talk show about the hurry-up spread offenses he is facing. He'd have his own segment, "Is this the direction we want football to go?"

currently and for the past few years Lake Burton(where saban has a house) and Lake oconee(where he also vacations) >>> Lake Travis
Although I do like Travis

Saban wouldn't allow this.

I'm sorry, Austin is a great city to visit, but it isn't a place to buy a lake house. B'ham has better lakes IMO.
I heard Saban got fleeced (lost millions) by some bad real estate deals and he is fed up (boosters).
Sounds plausible.

Why would anyone want to coach in the Big 12?

Yes because it is no comparison dip shite. Lets play it this way. Saban leaves Bama and goes to Miami. Leaves Miami the way he did and goes to LSU and is having the success at LSU as he is at Bama. Yes I am sure every Bama fan will say they would not be butthurt.
Oh and by the way, he gone! I can't wait to watch the meltdown.

So he is going to go where the boosters are worse?

I like how the article states "If ESPN is picking it up it MUST be true!!
First, it's ESPN's Austin affiliate, not Van Pelt or something. Second, ESPN, especially ESPN radio, cares about people tuning in to listen more than they care about accuracy.
If you don't believe that, then listen to 10 minutes of Finebaum.

It isn't vacation home worthy, specially not Lake Travis. Maybe lake LBJ isn't as bad as it is kept level (these are rivers we are talking about, made into "lakes" by dams), but Saban could find waaaaaay better vacation home spots.

No, meant that boosters are the ones who sold him in some deals that went sour and he lost a lot of money.
but i'm just repeating gossip

Can you get your inside source(s) to tell me whether she's using the same Realtor that she used two years ago when she was shopping for houses in Texas?
Thanks in advance. And, for what it's worth, I do believe you're in insider at Texas and not just some dumdum who reads ShaggyBevo
Well I don't know anything about what Terry did before, but I can come up with the name of the main realtor she's using now. Don't know it off the top of my head, but I can tell you its the same one that Patrick Suddes used when he came from Bama as recruiting coordinator.

Three realtors have confirmed Terry's house-hunting - that is the reason they are giving. The lakes around Austin are horrible right now because of the drought. And vacationing in Austin during summer is not my idea of a good get-away.
What three realtors?

His wife is taking the head coaching job and is just going to bounce ideas off of Nick. I don't know how nobody else realizes this, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
