I read he signed on to a letter sent to Senator Joe Manchin. It seems Saban supports the Federal take over of local and state elections.

He co-signed a letter with multiple coaches. Who were the other coaches?

Some of y'all are incredible. A person expresses one political opinion (which is very rare for him to do) and he automatically moves to the "scum" category. I don't like this bill either, but geez, just looking at everyone who has one or two different position as us as "scum" is unhealthy.

Also, the use of "Kent St. lib" as if we are talking about Harvard or Yale liberals.

Do you think Manchin gives a frick about what the people of WV think?

Judging by how how things are polling in WV that he doesn't support, I have my doubts.

He walked with his team protesting the police while being protected by the police. Saban is only worried about his recruiting image and not law and order and voting integrity.

Well, our country is so broken that our governments can't do anything that vast majority of people would say is necessary regardless of party lines. In those conditions, partisans have been left with no other explanation for why things are bad other than the people around them they don't agree with on everything.

The quicker people understand that the real opposition is our very form of government which by necessity creates federal and state governments that are utterly disconnected from popular opinion...the better.

The federal government SHOULD run elections. If the Alabama legislature had their way you could only vote on Tuesday from 6:00am to 7:00am

I guess saying "Against the police" instead of "against police brutality against unarmed black men" was better for the shitty point you were trying to make.

He has the right to have an opinion just like you.

Saban leans Democrat, this is not a secret. Everyone should be fine with that.
