doesn't look that way on tv. even your pretty boy qb's hot girlfriend looks like she could use some fun, Clemson style. LOL

Why would she settle for some also-ran from Clemson when she already has a champion?

lol, Dabo's a Clemson man now, been there like 15 years.

Clemson is a great ACC school and Dabo has brought you back to the national stage for the first time in 30 years, but don't kid yourself. He would accept the Bama job in a nanosecond if it was ever offered.

might come into play this offseason. I'm hearing 10-15 million bandied about on the Texas side of things, they really want Saban. tonight was the last straw.

i'm not sure that is true. Dabo strikes me as a loyal person, they gave him a job nobody else would. i don't think he has enuf confidence to go to bama where expecations will be even higher. and bama woulnd't offer him. LOL

Yeah. I'll go ditch a proven commodity in favor of "maybe."

cyde, I will argue that Clemson was much better than Bama, pre Saban.

You aren't hearing shite. You're hoping a lot, but you're not hearing from anyone anywhere near "in the know".

No school is going to offer a college HC $15M. If Texas were to offer $10m it would be easily and quickly matched. Bama is Saban's last stop. He's done in another 3-4 years.

This is a lot more realistic (albeit admittedly less fun) than your "loyalty" idealistic pablum.

So Texas lost to a school who was beat by an ACC school, one of the worse ACC schools, UVA, the week before? LOL

nah, but even if they did offer him, I think he would stick with Clemson. He's loyal and he knows Clemson gave him the break of a lifetime. I don't see Clemson firing him at this point unless somehow it all falls apart.

You certainly could.

I could argue that I can swim through the side of a mountain, but facts and empirical evidence would weigh heavily against me.

IMO if Saban went to Texas it would be for the Cowboys job and that is still a ridiculous idea.

what did Bama do, let's say b/t 1993 and 2007?

seems like they were on probation for many years.

I would say it was Tommy Bowden who brought Clemson back after some dark years under Tommy West.

Bowden brought the fun back with more high flying offense game plans.

Saban's ego just might be big enough for him to want to be the only Div 1 coach to win a NC at 3 different schools.

When you don't have an argument, move the goalpost until you can score, right?

Let's do it this way:

I'll accept your end date of 2006 (gotta have all or none of Saban's years,) but let's make the start date a little less arbitrary.

Find Alabama on that list for me, then find Clemson.

I don't know. He seems content to finish up at UA. He's not getting any younger
