But Cleveland? Yeah...kinda sucks. I am sure, as with all cities, that there are a few nice areas and some wonderful suburbs. But the actual downtown area of Cleveland is bad. I have been to a number of "depressed" cities...Fresno, Detroit, Oakland...but Cleveland, to me, was the worst. It was pretty sad to walk around town.

You've apparently never been to Jackson,MS. It is way shittier and getting worse every year.

ClevlandAntastasio, you're trying to educate those that aren't interested in changing their point of view. Just let it go. So what if they think your city sucks and has a toxic river. Big deal. Let their ignorance be their own letdown in the end.

Pretty dumb question, but I'll ask it. Now let's say Saban considered Clevland. Would TR being there weigh into his decison some? I know his motivation would be $$$, but familiar faces might make the transition easy.

he started in cleveland under belichick. would make sense to his ego to be able to compete against his mentor.

if he wins another NC I think he's gone to another challenge.

I said it to clarify I am no imbecile.. Wasn't bragging at all, merely stating a fact.

I dont think any Bama fan would be upset about that. He took a program that was a constant disappointment, built it to the best program in the country. If he leaves it will be left with the cupboards over flowing.

NE Jackson is still good... growing smaller every year. West Jackson is a staight up war zone.

When Saban leaves, which college will he come back to when he quits the NFL again and will Miles go to Bama?

I think that's part of the fun of it. What happens if he wins another? What happens if he loses? And the fact he's proven to be very unpredictable a coupe of times now in making these decisions.

Okie doesn't work.

He or she voted for Obama and is sitting at home trolling on the internet and collecting an unemployment check and waiting for the cable guy to disco his internet service today due to non payment. You got to give it to him/her for trying to go out with a bang though.

I think he takes it,and this time next year he's kicking his own arse for what he has done.
And Miss Terry sends him a X-mass card from T-Town.

Per 247Sports...

quote:

According to NFL sources, Saban has let it be known that if he returns to the NFL--where he flopped, going 15-17 with the Dolphins from 2005-06--it would likely be with Lombardi playing (Scott Pioli) to his (Bill Belichick)
