Alabama has the weakest schedule in the SEC because they don't have to play themselves. That, plus they don't play any tough SEC East schools.

Have to see how Arky, UT & AU do before I'd say we have a weak schedule. All 3 could be good. All 3 could suck.

Saban is talking about the Boise State's of the college football world, not BCS teams like Bama who can order up taylor-made bridge schedules to dominate their division--all is fair in conference politics.

Losses shouldn't play as big a role. Show me who you beat that warrants putting you in that game/playoffs. Only when you look at that for 2 teams and its tied do we then look at losses.

The problem with this is that in addition to only having the one loss to the #1 team in OT, Bama absolutely DESTROYED every other team on their schedule. The games even against decent teams weren't even remotely close. Alabama outscored the 3 ranked opponents it played (at the time they were ranked) other than LSU by a combined score of 106-25.

Oklahoma State squeaked out at least 2 games they could have easily lost and the one they did lose was to a 6-7 Iowa State team. Alabama DESTROYED everyone on their schedule and their only loss was in OT was the consensus #1 ranked team. I can't believe LSU fans are actually trying to argue that Okie State clearly had the better team and better resume.

GovT it gives them something else to blame other than their can't cross the 50ydline team and plus they don't have to admit that Bama was the best team when they conjure up the conspiracy cooking pots

They may not have had the better team, but, according to the SUPPOSED BCS formulas, Oklahoma State had the better resume:

OSU played more ranked teams
OSU had an overall stronger SOS
OSU won the championship of their conference
OSU's only loss was on the road in OT.

OSU was also told they all they had to do was 'destroy' Oklahoma and win the Big 12 Title and they would be assured of going to the NCG.

Well they did this. Only problem is, a faction of BCS 'Human Poll Voters' and Coaches voted Oklahoma State....."""""""""""F I F T H"""""""" OR """""""""""" S I X T H """""""""", when every other voter had them second or third !!!!

For whatever reason, this group of people voted CLEARLY the third (if not second) best team FIFTH OR SIXTH. Why ?????????????
They had just slaughtered former #1 Oklahoma by 5 touchdowns, they won their confernece title, and they were 12-1. Their SOS was stronger and they played more winning and bowl teams than Bama.
And you vote them FIFTH OR SIXTH ??????????????

How some of these yahoos got the right to vote in the BCS is mystifying - yet THEY decided who played LSU on Jan. 9 - and they alone....

Even Saban voted OSU FOURTH..... (no doubt to make sure he didn't appear 'biased' which of course he was.)

Biggest Reason: If LSU would have played Okie St., they would have another National Title.

You really!!!!!! Really!!!!!!!!!!!!REALLY!!!!!!!!!!! MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! aren't you????????????

Who the frick told them this? and how can someone "assure" a team that they will get in the BCSCG. Fact is they can't,

quote:

OSU was also told they all they had to do was 'destroy' Oklahoma and win the Big 12 Title and they would be assured of going to the NCG

Plus, the Big12 was and is way fricking overrated, which is why they had more "ranked" wins than Bama. Their SOS being higher is Joke as well, same flawed computers programs that had their conference rated higher created their bogus overrated B21 SOS.

Even with all of that and their obvious overratedness(yeah I made that up) they would have still given Bama a better game than LSU did, so you're right, they might should have played in the BCSCG vs BAMA.

Also, OKlite was not clearly the 3rd best team. Stanford maybe Oregon FSU a couple of teams could claim to be as good as OKlite. They were overrated in an overrated conference.

Let's see . . .

Alabama has probably had the weakest schedule in the SEC every year since 2009 aside from 2010. Which is why they've had so much success.

Well OSU didn't have a conference championship game guess that wouldn't have been fair either. LSU could've opted out of the SECCG, let the winner have the sec crown and played y'all in the BCSNCG if y'all were so worried about not having but only 40+ days to get ready. None of that mattered to the LSU faithful as y'all were going to stomp us in your own backyard with a huge crowd advantage and of course LSU never losses in N.O Super Dome but then the 50 yard line got in the way and the first and only shut out of the BCS occurred

No you didn't deserve to be in the SEC championship because you lost the right to play when LSU beat you.
