I don't think Notre Dame came out flat, Alabama's offense vs Notre Dame's defense was just a huge mismatch all around. Notre dame's offensive game plan was fricking stupid. They never had a chance.

So, Bama just wins another natty, and their fans still make excuses about the A&M game? What is wrong with you people?
We can play that "should have won the game" mess all day. If A&M's kicker was worth a damn at scoring points and didn't miss a PAT (much less a chip shot FG) A&M takes a safety, flips field position for Bama, who is then forced to get a TD in a minute to win. So if Bama gave us that offsides penalty, we gave you 4 points. Yet you still couldn't win. All 3 of those TO's were forced too, by the way
A&M's defense won that game, as highlighted by Harris's tackle of AJ at the 2 and Deshazor's INT. Those plays are all you need to know about what happened that day. It wasn't lack of execution or play-calling.

Auburn held Bama to less total yards than ND did while being the 118 best defense in the nation! Hahaha!

That's an accurate assessment man. He has to try and legitimize the current BCS title. He's not trying to disrespect LSU. I'm glad that we have an off week before A&M. That game will be personal. Manziel had his way with our defense for the first half. LSU shut him down pretty well on the road. I was impressed with that because LSU was one of the few defenses he didn't shred bad.
