Serious misconduct rule is dumb. I agree with Saban. Let schools police their own student intake.

Nah, he would have to take a pay cut and lose power.

Cam allegedly stole a laptop (did he even get kicked off the team?) and Marshall took money from a teammate's locker. If you think that those offenses exist in the same nebulous cloud of "misconduct" as Taylor's offense, then I don't know what to tell you.
well, considering that in pretty much every state the value of an average laptop makes it a felony, thats pretty serious misconduct. i dont think it was ever released what exactly nick marshall stole, but if it was electronics or cash (from his teammates), the value could easily have exceeded the $500 threshold for felony in georgia. if robbing your own teammates is not serious misconduct, this rule is meaningless

Bammers are so dumb. You try to make a big deal out of Cam and Marshall robbing people without force, yet your shite team has a player today who was involved in beating his fellow students almost to death. A guy who was also involved in robbing them when they were laying on the ground unconscious and a guy who was charged with at least two separate felonies for his actions in those crimes.

You are the worst of the worst when it comes to enabling violent, piece of shite thugs and anybody with an IQ above the level of a cow patty would agree

Why didn't he use Pettway as an example? Pettway's offenses were a little more serious than Cam and Nick's..

Was Saban taking a jab at Auburn? He should have used examples from his own school like Taylor (DV from UGA), flouncy-Smith (multiple incidents, Pettway (Robbery).

He knows Cam and Marshall wouldn't fall under this rule. What a prick Saban is for even using them.

Now, does it mean the rule doesn't require clarity as he suggests? No it probably does.

Ugh, what am I not getting? Saban is saying that theft of property is okay and there is nothing wrong with it.

Cam Newton is a thief and steals things. auNecks see nothing wrong with this and neither does Saban.

Can Saban do or say nothing that will ever please an auNeck?

It's mine, my name's on it.

It's ok phanny

Sabans suggestion will ensure that sniveling little fan boys such as yourself will have plenty of low class two bit thief rejects to worship every Saturday.

OK, here's the clarification - if it benefits Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, it gets blanket approval - that's how Mike Slime did it, and it worked, right?

If Cam Newton had not left Florida of his own free will, he was going to be kicked out of school for plagiarism. This is in violation of the school's policy and the coach would have had no choice. That is why he left for a junior college, so by the time that Auburn got him, there were no violations against him. He had been given his second chance.

It is pretty transparent that he is just being defensive since he was just made a fool of in a transfer situation.

Evidenced by his use of fallacious and non-applicable examples..
