“We treated the Ole Miss game like as a loss,” Luginbill remembers Saban saying. “We got on the bus after the stadium and there wasn’t a lot of jubilant, joyous atmosphere on the bus. It was kind of a gasp, wipe across the brow like, ‘whoa.’

“That, I believe, has kind of created this monster now, very similar in what we’ve seen Alabama do in past seasons after they actually had had a loss. They go on that run, they get hot, they get woken up, and that’s where I think Alabama is right now.”

It felt like a win that you shouldn't be too proud of. Blowing an 18 point lead and letting it be a one score game in seconds was disgusting. Hopefully that's as close to a loss as we'll get this year.

Pretty shitty that players can't even enjoy a big win like that.

Pretty impressive that they are so good and elite, it isn't considered a "big win".

Also, it's Ole Miss, come on...

Rivalry denied. Sorry Lil' Nicky, our slate is full and LSU fans are more fun than Gumptards.

Does this mean OM can hang a banner for beating Bama 3 times in a row?
