My only wish for Alabama was that we be competitive. As in, competing for SEC West Titles year in and year out.
For me to be satisfied, I could take trading wins with LSU and the occasional loss to a hot, also-ran like A&M or Arkansas every now and then. I don't expect championships every year.
I do, however, expect to dominate Auburn. That Tubberville 6-finger crap still gets under my skin and I hope we never see another loss to them.

No.. Saban's wife is on record saying that winning isn't even fun anymore because championships are expected. Winning is just a releif.

Saban doesn't get complacent so the fan pressure doesn't mean anything to him. The man is going to keep on keeping on. He's a robot. All he cares about is winning. Day and night. When he got back to the hotel the night of the NC game, he probably watched film of the aTm game on his iPad. The man is a machine.

We are all Sabanized. Its not about winning anymore. Its about the "Process". We enjoy the daily grind. The upside is we're in the hunt every year. Its all you can ask for.
