So you would be OK with a 5-3 Alabama being crowned West champs over a 7-1 LSU.. Whatever..

Didn't know we got rid of permanent cross-division opponents...

It's total bullshite how Georgia has gotten a much easier road to the SECC than USC last season and same for this season.

Hahaha.

If I ignored tradition and wanted to play an easier schedule over a long period of time, I'd much rather have Arky as our permanent opponent than Auburn.

Saban is correct.. Spurrier needs to play his schedule & SHut up

Agree. Yes, it played out in our favor 2 years in a row but SC will have their easy West teams in their schedule eventually while we are playing the tougher teams.

I agree with Coach Saban. If one's schedule is not as favorable as another, that's simply an extra hill to climb. Also, a heavier weight is given to divisional games in current tie-breaker rules. It'll ultimately work out in the long haul I think.

So a 5-3 SEC team wins the division over a 7-1 SEC team, potentially? Stupid..

Hard to believe there is a debate on this issue. Even though I am for having one permanent east-west, I do understand the logic in dropping that system. I can't understand this at all - so you are not counting conference games?
