I have been saying it for a while, give Saban 4 weeks and he can take Ole Miss and win a NC Game. Give him less than 10 days and he becomes very average against good teams. Belichick proved again last night that he can shut down another team with two weeks to prepare. Maybe that is why Saban got out of the NFL.

You think 2 weeks isn't enough time for Nick Saban to developed and implement a scheme? Sad attempt at a troll.

You saying it for a while does not make it any less of a ridiculous thing to say.

Quick side note. Two weeks is more than 10 days.

Uhhhh... no.

The Dolphins medical staff wouldn't clear Brees and killed the move. It's been pretty well reported that Saban wanted Brees in a bad way. Culpepper was who he could get that could clear the medical staff.

Complete revionist history put out by Saban to dilute the failure of his NFL tenure

I think he can develop a scheme, I just do not think is he can implement it. It might be too complicated for college players to understand in that time frame, or he might just have issues between the staff room to the practice field. Not a troll attempt, just a good discussion subject.

More like give him 2-3 years worth of recruiting classes. Plus however long the horse steroids take to kick in.

What is Saban's record for season openers and Bowl games ? He has played good competition in those games and he rarely loses. In the playoff era, his second game is the one that have become nail biters after blowouts in first rounds.

That is part of it, but if it was just talent alone, he would never lose a game. The fact that he only has one undefeated season proves my point.

Would you rather have the normal circle jerk subjects discussed by a posted started by SOG or Tuscaloosa ? My guess is you would.

The fact that now someone still is blabbing about Culpepper is our "daily reminder" that some people here just don't do football very well.
