Goff informed 10 players their scholarship would be revoked only to find out later that it's against NCAA rules.

The process placed guys on medial scholarship. Not straight up cut them.

This is still a relatively new rule. (Not totally defending him) He should be able to cut guys to bring it players that are a better fit for what he wants to do. When CPM got to LSU after that first season. He cut 3-4 would be returning starters straight up. Goff should have known the rule, but it's a terrible rule that doesn't help a program grow or get better
