Saban needs to retire if he needs a hundred rules for his defense to stop an offense. I have never seen a coach ask the NCAA for so much help

You trying to tell me that you can recruit better at Alabama as opposed to Texas, all other things being equal?

There are 12 FBS schools in the state of Texas, five of those are in major conferences. Four of them compete in the same conference. They're all competing for the same instate talent while also having to fend off out of state competition from the likes of Alabama, Oklahoma, USC, and Ohio State.

Compare that with the state of Alabama where there are only two schools playing in a major conference. The other schools (South Alabama, UAB, and Troy) are virtual non-entities.

Saban would still be able to recruit at Texas but it wouldn't be as easy as you would first think.
