I think he is pissed because his best team ever gets dominated two weeks straight.

This is certainly not his best team ever

The Doctor of Filosofee (Holtz) - watched Saban's post game comments and said for Saban there is no joy in winning - only relief. Made some comment about Saban not having any fun at all - some quote from Urban Meyers about it being more fun to build it than maintain it.

Left me with the feeling that Lou thought Saban was miserable.

31-0 is an arse kicking, being 2 yards away from a win not so much

There was still 1:40 on the clock had Bama scored. A&M kicks a field goal in that time frame and you lose, very likely.

That is what the press has been saying all year. Remember that talk about how they could beat a few NFL teams. That has all changed in the last two weeks, even the ESPN guys are trying to shoot holes in them.

What excuse did he make? He said his team got their arse kicked, he took 100% blame in the post-game interview. He hasn't made the first excuse for his team losing.

So now what the press thinks is what Saban thinks? Hasnt he been trying to get people to stop saying that type of shite all year?

saban basically said Tide bottom out against LSU in front of their largest and rowdiest nightime death vlley crowd ever and LSU was so bad we still won which ultimately cost us the championship.

Are you saying "We make fun of Holtz all the time, except when he says something that fits our agenda"?

Hey now, you are an Auburn fan, you should know better than anyone else that the press is totally clueless, right? I mean they said Gene Chizik "caught lightening in a bottle in 2010", they said Chizik was "a one hit wonder", they said AU would have easily the best Dline in the SEC this year. The press/media gets shite right about half of the time.

Nobody from ESPN made those comments. The bama fan were the biggest pushers for the "maybe the best team in Alabama History".

In all fairness, the last time these things were said about an Alabama team was 2010, and that team and this team seem A LOT alike at this point.

It's not Bama nor Saban's fault that ESPN et al. got carried away.
