There's a new DVD chronicling the history of LSU football that just came out

LINK

In it, Nick Saban appears in new interviews given within the last few months.

Does this bother Alabama fans? I ask because if memory serves, more than a few of you were irritated about Saban appearing in The Blind Side as the LSU coach.

Not at all. LSU was a stepping stone in his career.

Nope. No more than Bear Bryant winning UK's last SEC championship. Or having him hoist Bebes Stallings up after A&M beat us in the Cotton Bowl.

I could care less what they did beforehand, and anybody that gets a hard on for that needs to get a life. Sort of like your hard on for the Tide.

Drac, LSU is pretty damn good. You should enjoy the ride.

not at all

He did a great job at LSU and is a huge part of their history

How could he NOT be on this DVD? He turned the entire program around when it was down in the dumps, and made LSU a CFB Super Power on a level it had never been before

Doesn't bother me at all. He could wear an lsu hat to the game on Saturday for all I care as long as he's still coaching bama.

Not at all. I just remembered the Blind Side thing and it made me curious.

You realize that not every post on the SECr is a flame, right?

I guess my many requests to have his face pixelated & voice altered fell on deaf ears....

If anything it proved that he regretted leaving LSU and/or college football

Of course we're not mad. Saban is the greatest coach in LSU's history. He deserves to be recognized for what he did there...in fact, y'all should get to work on his statue.

Exactly. The Junction Boys does not bother me so why should an old video of Saban in LSU gear bother me?

Why should it? He's a part of Michigan State's history too. Just like Bryant is a part of Maryland, Kentucky, and Texas A&M's history. No need to revise it.

He made their football program relevant. Of course he deserves to be recognized for this.
