He also said he wants teams in Division I to play teams ONLY found in Division I.
Well he can start leading by example then. No more tomato can high school teams in BDS.

I've wanted to the same thing, Saban.
60 teams.
6 conferences.
8 conference games. Two Division 1 OOC games.
8 team playoff - 6 conference champions. 2 wild cards.

I agree with Saben. We need to play 9 SEC games and we don't need to play FCS schools. We also don't need to be playing mid-majors.
I disagree with the latter part...whats wrong with playing a Boise? Fresno St? UCF? Marshall? ...those programs can surely play with the bigboys too.

No, he knows YOU don't want it to happen.
Why do most LSU fans not want a nine game SEC schedule?

Because Lsu fans know that Lsu would get:
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
For their eastern schedule
And bama would get:
Missouri
Tennessee
Kentucky

BS. Yes the two transition years have not been kind to LSU SOS wise. But whats funny is LSU fans whine about LSU not playing good teams at home yet they whine our schedule is too hard. Make up your fricking mind, you can't have it both ways.
If it was a 9 game schedule they could post the schedules 10 years in advance for every team with dates to be determined by the conference office. This would show the rotation and eliminate any perceived bias.
Now as far as permanents go, yes florida has more resources then any other team in the SEC so naturally they are usually going to be on top but over the course of the last 30 years UT has been UF's equal. Bottomline is the only fair way to split the big 6 is to have them all play each other. It makes sense to have the traditional rivals play each other. Besides UF and LSU have played every year since like 1970, no reason to break that up.
UT is on their way back up and Jones will have them competing for conference championships within 5 years so this should equal the schedule back out. Putting A&M with SC; Mizzou with ARKY pretty much equals out the schedule for those that have a legit chance to win the conference.
A 9 game schedule would work really well so long as they post the schedule in 10 year blocks. Doing this and adopting a rule of no FCS teams and you must play 1 BCS team OOC every year would go a long way to help the perception of the SEC. 10 year blocks is plenty of time to work out the schedules for ooc teams and it allows teams to prepare accordingly when they only have 4 home conference games scheduled. This would hopefully force these neutral site games to become home and home series.
I know TL; DR

This wouldn't work financially. Not enough home games to go around. The lower half of that new division 1 would have extremely significant problems. Bigger programs would also make less money.
