Doesn't matter if Spurrier is worried or not. Lattimore is the one carrying the ball.

With Lattimore coming off the same inury and being 6 months away from millions, how concerned are you that he will be a shell of his freshman self?

There is some concern for me that he will be something "less" of what he was before the injury, although I wouldn't necessarily say a shell. Before Fall Camp, I was of the impression that we would limit Lattimore's participation for the first 3rd of the season or so....let him ease his way back into a more normal work-load that would have him ready to go 100% by the UGA game, for instance....

However, during fall camp all reports and indications are that first: Marcus' knee and leg appear to be 100% and strong and with full range of motion, and second: Marcus' mind-set and confidence in his knee is also 100%. Marcus has a very strong faith in himself and God to take the path laid out before him with steeled eyes, and not hesitate. Whatever happens will be what happens.

But one good way to answer this question: We lost Marcus in the MSU game.....in the remaining games, our rushing offense was as follows:

UT: 231 yds (4.4 ypc)
AR: 79 yds (2.4 ypc)
UF: 215 yds (4.1 ypc)
Cit: 256 yds (6.9 ypc)
CU: 210 yds (4.0 ypc)
NE: 121 yds (3.0 ypc)

Total: 185.3 ypg (4.2 ypc)

185 yds per game would have been good enough for 3rd in the SEC last season (which was where we ended up), and 30th nationally (we ended up 25th in FBS with 192.08 ypg). We get all of the players that accounted for those rushing yards back for 2012, with an OL that the consensus in the program says will be improved.

And THEN you add Marcus Lattimore to that, regardless of how many carries or yards or whatever he brings. That's what USC fans are excited about.....
