Running up the score is required in the BCS.
If LSU was 12-0 but won every game by 1 point they would likely still be ranked number 1, but a loss versus Georgia even by one would likely knock them out of the BCS Title game. Winning big was insurance for them in case they lose to someone like Georgia in a close one. The same goes for Alabama. If they won all their games in close fashion there would not be such a consensus that they were the best one loss team.

We empathize. An feel for the family and Arkansas as a team. I do believe our coach, Les Miles, even reached out to CBP concerning the young man's death to offer condolences from our team, university, and himself with no response back from CBP. We most assuredly do sympathize with Arkansas' loss, And it definitely puts football in its proper place.
As for the Superman thing, I could see where if you did not know it was his "celebration" where a wrong perception could come from. But, in his defense he's has been doing that ever since I can remember.
