It really would. Even if it was just Kiffin taking center stage it would be classless. I know I'm in the minority but Saban has always come across an ok guy on the field. He hates the press to be sure and can yell at his team with the best of them but he's never come across as a total dbag. I have my issues with him and don't think he always treats his players right - he's cutthroat when it comes to that - but I've never seen him act like an a-hole to opponents on gameday (not like this, anyway).
Hell, Spurrier @Florida loved to throw barbs at us and knew us well enough to make them hurt but he would never have done such a thing.

No chance of that.

Imagine Bama being up 42-3 in 4th quarter garbage time, and they trot DD out to start calling plays.
I think that garbage truck worker's convention of y'alls might well break away and sink into the fricking Tennessee River.

Don't talk about my family. We come from a rich upstanding background of lawyers, cops, politicians, and bankers.

If that happened we'd come from behind and win even in the 4th. So maybe there's good news to be seen here should Doolz roam your sideline.

You say that like it's a bad thing. We invented modern sanitation, yo! Seriously y'all owe us as does every Amurrican:
quote:
George Roby Dempster (September 16, 1887 – September 18, 1964) was an American businessman, inventor, and politician, active primarily in Knoxville, Tennessee, during the first half of the twentieth century. Dempster is best known for the invention of the Dempster-Dumpster, a now-commonly-used trash receptacle that can be mechanically emptied into garbage trucks.
And much of the world:
quote:
In spite of these setbacks, Dempster and his brothers reorganized their remaining resources to form Dempster Brothers, Inc., which focused on heavy machinery.[3] In 1935, the company introduced the "Dempster-Dumpster," the first large-scale waste container that could be mechanically emptied into a garbage truck. As orders for this new product poured in from around the world, the company devoted all of its resources to the production of Dempster-Dumpsters.[2]
That said, I don't understand the garbage truck convention reference - do your garbage collectos wear orange or something?

I've seen more than once but can't recall that part and don't have it memorized. It cracks me up every time I've seen it tho'. I'd watch it again to check the reference but I can't play audio right now. Should be able to do that later (hopefully).

So, to paraphrase the above...
Saban is classless. Saban is okay. Saban is not a douche. Saban yells at his players and I don't like it. But he's not an a-hole.
You were kind of all over the place with that post.

Butch Jones will probably be on the Bama sideline the second half.

Just watched it. Even though he references NAY-LAND (where on Earth is he from???), he said it looked like a garbage collectors convention. Sounded an awful lot like he's referring to our colors as he does throughout the video. Even so, funny vid.

As part of his buyout Dooley will be allowed to call 3rd down for UT tomorrow.

A couple of years ago he may have inadvertently laid the groundwork for a sequel.

We'll already have two former Vol head coaches on the sidelines. That's plenty.
