That's why I like to play SCe early in the year...

part of the hazard of recruiting the Atlanta area heavily is the fallout from the Atlanta HS testing fiasco/scandal is still in play, many of these kids have been passed through the system to keep the teachers looking competent when reading and writing are barely discernible abilities for them.
I can't imagine that USC is counting on this years incoming class for much of this years success though, that seems unthinkable in the SEC.

At least ours aren't criminals
And it should be "an official" not "a official".
You must be a sidewalk UGA fan. Lord knows they wouldn't let a dumbass that makes that mistake into their prestigious school

Crisis avoided, Wesley Green and Chris Lammons made it in.

Thought I read Sawyer was already in JUCO and would enroll at USC in January.

They'll both be here in January.

This is a good point. Metro Atlanta pumps out a ton of talent, but it's a buyer-beware situation in that a lot of those kids are going to be academic risks.
That said, Sawyer wasn't from the APS district, and was actually at a pretty damn good high school. Kid just may not have the mental makeup. We knew he and Wideman were major risks, though Lammons and Green were surprising to me. I thought they'd have been "surer things."
Regardless, it's embarrassing that so many of these kids have been risky academically. But as regrettable as it may be, it appears that the majority of the situation has been resolved. Now comes the tricky part (if you're not UNC) - keeping these blockheads eligible.

Sawyer and Wideman we knew about ... they'll be here in January.
If those end-up being the only two, and they might, then I'll be happy. We are not hurting for DEs and DTs at the moment.
I'm just happy the CBs got in - I took a deep breath of relief.

Tennessee managed to hide their incoming players stupidity, so why is SCAR having so much trouble?

IDK, we had a guy that wanted to come to SC a couple years ago named Kendall Vickers, he committed, but couldn't pass through SC Admissions during the summer, so he then chose to go to Tenn and he was able to get in no problem there. Our APR is A LOT higher than Tenn's, maybe we are just a better academic school.

To think that SCAR would have the nerve to expect their players to put effort into their academics.
These guys just want to ball. Somebody out there will give them a spot.

SCAR's academics are highly reguarded now because they required something UT didn't?

I didn't say, 'highly regarded' is just said 'maybe ours are better.'
Don't you have a police scanner to go check to see who's going to be left to play football in Athens this fall?

Salomon got arrested before making it to school. That's gotta be a new record, right?
