Would certainly set up well to get some inroads into Arkansas' talent pool, paltry as it may be. I think Malzahn can win in any circumstance. But I also think he can do the most good at a school like OM. His offense can negate differences in talent, up to a certain point.

That's why I mentioned Smart, too. I would imagine he could make OM competitive just by having extremely good defensive units every year.

Kinda OT but are Ole Miss fans going to sack up and take back their school or do they really just enjoy having frat parties and watching all their traditions get taken away and doing nothing about it.

Jesus Christ. I was initially happy A&M came but after the last two days, after all these shitty threads and comments, I realize I was wrong.

We arent here to be your friends. If a bammer likes you, it just means he thinks hes better than you.

Leach is far and away the best possible hire for Ole Miss.

It's not even close really.

Or maybe it just means he doesn't think you're a complete count. Not sure the same can be said for you.

I really just want most of the current staff gone. Who replaces them is moot until our AD proves he can actually hire a competent HC.

So using that logic, you don't like Ole Miss because you don't think you are better than them.

Ole Miss > aTm. Maybe not this year, but in general. So yeah, the Aggie has good reason to not like Ole Miss, since that is his standard.

That offense would get killed just like it does every other time he faces a good or mediocre defense.

100% agree. Leach is an innovator, but more importantly he a proven head coach that puts an emphasis on recruiting and has experience working at a school that has less resources than many of the schools it competes w/. He would be able to attract some pretty good assistant coaches.

Malzahn may be a great head coach, but good coordinators don't always do well as head coaches. I don't know much about his recruiting strengths, but he's not known as Auburn's best closer. His only success seem to be w/ high schools in Arkansas where he has connections.

it pains me to say this, but before OM goes the Malzahn route, they should look at Chad Morris at Clemson. Morris is considered to be Malzahn's protege because Morris studied Malzahn's offense at Springdale H.S.and later followed him as the OC at Tulsa. However, Morris has never worked under Malzahn and has a different style. Morris has 16 years as a head coach at some of Texas largest high schools, winning multiple state championships and developing QBs like Garrett Gilbert, Jevan Snead and Kody Spano. He's cocky as hell, but seems to back it. I know he was very instrumental in Clemson's recruiting, including landing Sammy Watkins in Florida. I think Gus would take more of a passive approach like Cutcliffe, which didn't go over too well in Oxford.

No you frat douche. Bammers are the most deluded arrogant fanbase east of the Mississippi. Ole Miss has hotter women and that's about the only thing they have on A&M.
