That would be fricking nuts. That BOL poster seems pretty confident its not a drug test, so I'll buy it, but the only reason Cooper would tweet that its a year is because that's what Ha-Ha told him. There's a very short list of things that take the decision out of the coach's hands and carry a year suspension automatically. If it were some minor issue and up to Saban when he comes back I don't think anybody gets told the timeframe, so if a player is saying it's a year then I'm inclined to believe it.

Such as? It's typical message board procedure to throw vague shite out there. If the poster is right, they usually boast an "I told you so". If the poster is wrong, they usually say "I'm just glad I was wrong on this one".
Specifics are the key. If they aren't offered by a poster then I don't buy the insinuations.

I'm pretty sure I remember Alabama fixing it to where they can't sell their tickets a while ago. I could be wrong but I swear I remember something about that or something similar.

not just Alabama. It's an NCAA rule you can't sell your tickets. Shyrone Carey and another player, can't think of who right now, were suspended from the BCS national championship game in 2003 for selling their extra tickets. Players basically aren't allowed to make any money of anything related to football: selling their jerseys (AJ Green), signing autographs (Manziel), selling tickets, etc.
