If we did it after every Auburn victory, regardless of the opponent, then it would be borrowing. The fact that we only do it after Auburn beats Alabama should tell you something.
However, maybe hearing it six years straight led you to believe we used it on a regular basis. In that case, you are forgiven.

I was there. That was brutal. The 2001 Auburn-LSU game got pretty crazy too. I remember fans running onto the field and one, in particular, who made his way to the AU students and proceeded to (sans the spanking)

Really because the whole Roll Tide chant, RTR, and everything associated with that came from Auburns War Eagle chant, WDE etc
