I see. That wasn't meant as a flame or anything. For all the recruiting love Orgeron got, the guy didn't recruit OL worth a shite. The last couple of years he was here we missed some guys and only signed one or two a year, which eventually led to our shitastic performance this year on the OL. I do like how Nutt's classes are pretty balanced and that we will probably take 5-7 OL this year depending how the cookie crumbles

Ive never been sold on star ratings. Say we (state and Ole miss are recruiting a kid who is a 3 star) and Bama and LSU offer him late and he commits there. BOOM he is instantly a 4 star.

Otherwise someone could just sign a bunch of one-armed retards and have a high team ranking.
If you don't use star rankings or average star rankings, then you can't use team rankings. And notice, that's why I said AVERAGE star rankings. That way, those one or two recruits who get bumped by a Bama offer weigh less.

State will be able to sign over 28 we had 3 players already signed before Christmas and are enrolled. I look for us to sign and place 3 players so we should sign either 30 or 31 this year.
