If Green cant play next year who steps up alongside Barron? I have no idea what Bama has at safety behind him.
Wouldn't surprise me to see Phelon Jones move over for Spring drills to put some experience in the position. Then go from there once everyone gets on campus this Summer/Fall

He failed his third drug test.

Sounds like the most likely scenario.

I knew New Orleans was the culprit.

He's been given chances over the last two months and f'd up. This is on him. It's his future he's screwing up not Alabama's

Well, he was in New Orleans this past weekend.
Wasn't he with Ingram? Another poster said they spotted Mark checking out of the Marriott in NOLA.

Why would that mean he was with Robby Green?

Because Robby was in New Orleans at the same time. I thought I read that he was with teammates so I assumed that meant they were together.

"He failed his third drug test."
He would not have played this year if he had failed two drug tests.

If this a failed drug test, usually Saban will give them the opportunity to go to rehab. He did that with at least 3 players prior to 08 season. With one of them it was successful and he went on to have an outstanding season. The other two, not so much.

Jimmie & Prince?
Jimmie & Prince?

This sucks arse. I know there were at least 5 plays in the secondary or on special teams when Green was the only guy back there with enough speed to run the guy down from behind.

watch out for Demarcus Milliner.. He seems like more of a safety type.

A bit of poetic justice for Miles lately with this and Janzen

Not really. Green has a national championship. He likely wouldnt have one if he was at LSU. I will give you Janzen though.
