How many awful teams do y'all get to play this year anyway? Who makes the schedules for the SEC?

Because the Tide only schedules tough teams. Amrite?

BrerTiger, thanks for the cliffnotes.

My hatred for Ritter goes back to this play. But I could be wrong and it not be Ritter's crew who did this game. I just blame it on Ritter

Hmm. Now that is unexpected. Ritter hammers LSU in every game EXCEPT the Alabama game. Even more interesting, the penalty margin isn't helping all that much. LSU is 6-1 in games Ritter officiated since 2012, and the one game the Tigers lost, they held the edge in penalties. So maybe his Bama bias shows up in the games he works with the Tide:

Wow, he doesn't like the Tide either. In fact, looking at the LSU and Bama game logs with Ritter, it seems we can identify the true villain behind the potential SEC officiating conspiracy... Texas A&M. The Aggies have only been in the league three years, and they've drawn Ritter four times against LSU or Bama, and every time they have gotten an extremely friendly whistle.

Wait, what? This can't be.

Les Miles should really start an investigation on Ritter.

Leslie should teach his team to not commit penalties.

Unbelievable... three, count'um, three lines by LSU babies on the front page, all about one ref and all off the charts on the tin hat, black helicopter scale.

Didn't Ritter and crew ref the 9-6 game, and didn't Ritter himself call that jump ball an interception in the end zone for LSU rather than a touchdown for Alabama?

I am beginning to regret my like for LSU football. When the entire fan base whined that the personal foul call near the goal line shouldn't have been called, even though it was an obvious personal foul, I cringed. The apparent belief in some of the LSU base, that they are entitled to be titled, stinks.

It does grow old, but that what this chat board is for... to allow azzholes to continuously make azzholes of themselves.

By the way...I still think that all these ref threads are started by Aggies who fake an affiliation with LSU...and are designed to make the LSU fan base appear more desperate and delusional than they actually are.

You would think after all these years that effete, whiny French blood would have been diluted. Rantards continually remind me that this is not the case.

My theory of LSU's history of victim mentality is rooted in its cowardly French blood.

LSU is generally penalized as much as the rest of the SEC teams on average. The takeaway that I got from the ATVS thing, that they didn't really get too much into, is that whoever LSU plays seems to become a paragon of discipline when they play LSU.

I agree we get some stupid penalties and many of them are accurate. But it's kind of weird when a team averages 8 penalties a game all year and gets called for 2 against LSU.

Maybe the other refs are just letting yall get away with everything and Ritter is the only honest one of the bunch.

That statement carries as much weight as "Why is Ritter always picking on us"

Man, y'all were crying like LSU fans after that call.

Come to think of it, y'all really can't complain about LSU whining about refs after that one.
