What was the feeling amongst dawgs when he was hired? I know he had some defenders in the past on here but most non-msu fans gave a collective "who the frick is RR?" when he was hired

That was my first reaction.
Gave it a shot or 12 hoping that our AD would prove to be smarter than the rest of us. That clearly isn't happening now.
