Zero chance in this. I highly expect us to hire a HC who had head coaching experience.

Can't say I'm surprised. He didn't have the big money support.

Will Wade at UTC would be a great hire.

I don't care what it takes. Use the SEC Welfare check and hire Kenny MFing Payne with Horatio Webster as some BS Director of Basketball Operations and get it over with.

That is the only acceptable hire to anc. But I don't matter one bit.

Get Payne, then State has chance to get Newman.

seems like ray could be a valuable assistant at a big program or perhaps give it a whirl at a smaller school

gets it.

We have to keep the best high school player from Mississippi in years (that happens to be the son of a former MSU player) in state. He's a program changer. Payne is the only way we get him.

One phone call should be made on this next hire. To Horatio Webster.

Horatio, who do you want?
Kenny Payne
Done.

Payne is the lead recruiter of Newman for UK. Sounds like Cal is moving from Newman with him wanting to be a SG Payne would do well in Starkville.

I hate to have to fire somebody, but this was absolutely necessary to save the program.
