Yeah home field advantage is obviously a myth constructed through sports history.

Y'all are using a bunch of losses as evidence that Tiger Stadium is magic.

How many times since Saban got to Alabama has an LSU/Alabama game in TS gone down to the wire? 4 out of 4. Two overtime games, an Alabama comeback in the final minute, and a close LSU win.

Alabama has basically taken LSU behind the woodshed the last two times we've played in Tuscaloosa.

But apparently home field means nothing. No advantage whatsoever

In CFB it's been proven mathematically that home field advantage is 4 pts or so. But, it feels like it's a little bigger for TS or does LSU just play worse than most on the road? Hard to know for sure. Either way Bama has a great record there. We pretty much own TS.

Auburn: 127-58-6, 0.6649

Tennessee: 196-89-11, 0.662

Miles is 4-2 vs Bama in the regular season with a JR/SR at QB.

Is this one of those ESPN stats to make it sound more impressive than it actually is?

He's 4-2 vs Bama when it's 76 degrees, when he ate a ham sandwich for lunch, and he also tied his left shoe before his right.

Hey bud I know who will be playing for Alabama as well as most of the other SEC teams. I wasn't trying to say that this seasons game will be any easier than last season. I was merely pointing out that LSU should match up much better experience wise vs. the previous two seasons.

QB- Barnett RsFr
Rb- Scarbrough So
WR- Ridley So
WR- Stewart JR
WR- Foster Jr
Te- Howard SR
Lt- Robinson JR
Lg- Pier***** RsSo
C- Hassenauer JR
Rg- Taylor SR
RT- Greene SR

DE- Allen SR
NT- Payne So
DE- Tomlinson/Hand SR/JR
OLB- Williams SR
ILB- Foster SR
ILB- Thomas So
OLB- Anderson SR
CB- Fitz So
CB- Humphrey So
S- Jackson SR
S- Jones/Smith JR/SR

I may be off on a few but it should be pretty close

Statistically home field advantage has been worth about 3.5 points.

I'm not saying Tiger Stadium is magical.

Tiger Stadium is LSU's home field. We have played Alabama a lot better at home recently than we have on the road.

It will be an advantage for LSU to play their toughest opponent of the season next year at home, as opposed to on the road. If you can't see why I think that, then you're just an idiot.

Why yes it does. And yet it still turns out to be a loss.

I have broken down home field records as far as I will. If you want to research 'closeness of home losses,' have at it.

Because the lost? And can't break 17 points home or away since 2010?
