This thread only reinforces my impression that a healthy percentage of Alabama fans are complete fricking idiots. Like a team returning 18 starters and bringing in the #1 class in the country shouldn't feel confident

Everything. It will be a completely different team. Ask your coach, he understands this concept. He also has a healthy contempt for Alabama fans who think the jersey wins games.

And how this is different from fans that think 'the magic of a stadium at night' means dick?

Well why don't you ask him, he went out of his way on many occasions to single out the crowd's influence when he was here.

He was being a gracious winner 'cause he never really knew what losing was like at your place.

Again, how is a jersey different from a stadium? When you get right down to it, neither position is any less ridiculous than the other.

Alabama 2016 defense:

Starting DL: Jon Allen, Da'Ron Payne, Da'Shawn Hand

Starting LBs: Reuben Foster and Ben Davis ILB/Tim Williams and Rashaan Evans at OLB

Safeties: Eddie Jackson and Ronnie Harrison/Minkah Fitzpatrick at Star/Tony Brown at money

CBs: Marlon Humphrey and Kendall Sheffield

Get fricked

So, to clarify, you don't think there's such a thing as a home field advantage?

Hopefully the gameplan. Oh yeah, and LSU returns more starters than they have in several years and has tremendous talent. If you don't think LSU has the talent to compete with Bama then I don't know what to tell you.

The game planning often leaves a lot to be desired but that isn't an insurmountable problem. We should have won the last one in Tiger Stadium and team wasn't great and had terrible QB play. We lost the one at home before that on a brilliant game winning drive by Bama.

So what's so hard to understand about why people anticipate another great game? Oh, that's right, you're a troll.

He did jog off the field yelling "you did it!" to the fans over and over after one win.

It really must be quite sad to be a bama fan. All you can root for, talk about, or support, is your football team. Do bama fans ever wish they can cheer for 2 or more sports? LSU may not win NC often, but it happens in multiple sports, which gives our fans sonething to look forward to and enjoy all year with the exception of the time between the end of baseball and football season. Variety is the spice of life Gumps.

We've won NCs in several other sports the last few years. Sorry to disappoint you...that was a stupendous post.

You like to think so, wouldn't you? You tried, sorry to inform you though, your attempt to flame our fanbase fell short.

Im just illustrating how dumb your OP is. LSU fans arent running around talking about how they are going to beat bama's arse next year. As a matter of fact most aren't very confident at all.

lulz at you dumbass.

Precisely. That is a myth that you guys have clung to for years. I can dredge up a post with winning percentages of SEC stadiums if you'd like. L5U's is in the bottom tier.

Bama actually has played better on the road for the last few years. But you just go on thinking what you want/

do it.

ETA

LSU’s overall home record since the start of football in 1893 is 478-165-19 (.736).

yeah that's pretty shitty.

I'm talking about the big 3. There is really nothing for Bama fans to get up for other than football, unless you enjoy women's sports or golf. Not knocking it, to each his own.

Y'all may enjoy hanging on to football year round, but personally I like to watch basketball and baseball and know LSU will compete instead of being a rent-a-win for most teams.
