Supposedly we paid them each roughly $20 million dollars to attend our university.

All of a sudden, I feel a whole lot better about what we paid Albert Means.

This thread had potential based off the title alone. Then the op ruined it by demonstrating his poor grasp of the written English language

You think the greatest football program of all time, with the greatest facilities in the country, and the best college football coach of all time is having to pay players to come play for us?

It's cute you don't think Bama or Saban cheat. He wasn't the greatest coach of all time when he first started at Alabama. Actually most people thought he was a classless jerk for how he lied to everyone with the Dolphins and Dolphins players couldn't stand what an arse he was. And NOBODY cheated more than Bear Bryant which made Bama football what it is. Hell, he skipped town on A&M when he was about the get in trouble there for cheating.

Tuscaloosa... You are better than that. Don't be naive, man.

I'm not naive at all. But it's nothing short of mental retardation to believe the University of Alabama has to pay players "like Ole Miss does", which is what the OP essentially stated.

We only paid 180K for a Heisman and NC.

You guys supposedly spent more than 10 fold and did not win the west?

The NCAA should investigate and help you recover some of the millions.

ETA: Bear Bryant wasn't sanctioned a single time in his entire career for cheating.

I'm surprised the Rebs couldn't use there Juice with Jimmy Sexton (Son goes to OM) to help squash this investigation. Oh I forgot, Bama has more Juice because the Head of NCAA rules committee is a Bama Grad.----------Reb's YOU ARE frickED !!

Well your post seemed that you were offended that someone would even consider Alabama paying players. That's all. As long as it is understood that you guys aren't choir boys I am ok with it.

I never said Bama has to pay like Ole Miss does, I just said they do.

We need to get something straight. So is ole miss poor, fat, and racist? Or do we have the deepest pockets? Can't be both

Man it's good to be King.

A couple of regular season wins against us worth everything to some people.

Does it matter that they were rendered irrelevant by Bama winning the conference and making the playoffs both seasons? Nope

Just beat Alabama and you can live off that forever. It says something about about your standards, but I like what it also says about our status.

It's good to be King.

Neither was John Calipari. Leave before the school you're at gets caught. It's smart, but don't pretend that Bear Bryant didn't cheat. Just makes you look like an idiot.

LSU's fascination with Ole Miss is glaring.

What can we say. It's fun to watch second rate teams try to hang with the big boys only to get burned to the ground.
