How about Thirsty Fellow? Is that place still around? I know the area around there is part of the expansion area.

Anyway, Thirsty Fellow is my recommendation. Sort of low key place with great pizza and good beer selection. Also a few really hot waitresses used to work there.

Thirsty Fellow is still there. That's my pre or post-game choice during basketball season. Another good choice.

I like Cola's, too. Good restaurant.

Motor Supply Company is pretty good also.

Haven drive cross country many times, as the old saying goes, the best to ever come out of CoMO is I-70...

Too bad they lowered the speed limit on that stretch of highway to 60. At least Wyoming has the good sense to set the limit at 80....

Yeah if we are talking in that price point I personally give the nod to Motor Supply. Cola's is awesome and has a good vibe. Bourbon has the best drinks in town and the food is alright too.

For a good sports atmosphere try Hickory Tavern, they have pretty good burgers there too and a great tap selection. Also a great place for outside seating on the upper deck if the weather is nice.

Rockaways
Dano's Pizza
Cock n Bull (Sunday brunch - AND SOCCER)
D's Wings
Vella's

For Vista area, I've heard Grill Marks is good. Old Chicago isn't bad... and you can't go wrong with Wild Wings. We also have a Twin Peaks now if that's your thing. Food is not that great though.

Also, Cantina 76 on Devine Street and Henry's right next door are really good.

Hit up one of our breweries, or all, while you're here.

My recommendation:

River Rat (if you have to pick one)
Conquest
Swamp Cabbage

I hang out at Conquest a lot more because of friends but prefer River Rat's beer.

Cantina 76 used to be my jam, but I have grown partial to Publico on Greene Street now. They are both super similar, but Publico has a little more expansive menu and a great beer selection.

Agree with these. I would also add Mr. Friendly's and Basil.

Cantina has a very talented staff on most nights.

Did you go to the one on Devine? That must be some of the worst designs for parking I've ever seen, especially with as crowded as that place gets.

With that said, the crowd and the usual walk down Devine is a part of its nuance I suppose.

Oh yea... I haven't ever been to the one on Main Street in the old Chick Fila. The one on Devine does have some serious talent, but most places in Columbia do.

I wasn't sure if it was or not, it's one of the relatively newer sports bars in the Vista. Probably the best TV/sq. inch coverage of anywhere around.

yeah that is true, but I've been a couple of times and other than sitting at the bar, the service was "Ok" at best.
