Not at all. It's a bad South Carolina, get another home game, great time to "feel good" about themselves with not much to lose. There is some goodwill but mostly grandstanding. I can promise you they wouldn't have billboards if this was Bama coming to BTR. Hell, there were people on here openly saying they hoped the tornado destroyed our campus back in 2011. No, no they wouldn't. It's an easy team, time for a great photo op. Especially with the billboards. That showed me it was pretty much grandstanding. If I were USCe I'd say thanks but that's enough guys.

You're the prime example of why probably nobody would do the same for Alabama. The arrogance, the contempt, the sheer assholery of your fan base and your entire state, make it hard to have any sympathy for you, no matter what any just God would deem fit to send your way.

See, that's where you're wrong. You know what a lot of LSU fans remember when we played ASU in Tempe after Katrina? The things they did that made our team and fans feel welcome in their stadium for our home game during what was a terrible time for a lot of people in Louisiana. They helped provide so many people a bit of warmth and normalcy during a time when normalcy seemed impossible. 10 years later, and I still look back with sincere appreciation at that game, and because of that, I know many in South LA will always have a special admiration for ASU.

I can say with assurance, it is with great pleasure that LSU can do this for USC as ASU did for us. So, by all means, feel free to speak for yourself and for your school, but the next time you feel like enlightening us on what you think LSU's motives are for doing something…DON'T, because you speak for neither the fan base nor the school, and you really don't have a clue.

People seem to forget the several 18 wheelers of water and supplies we sent to Tuscaloosa in 2011. How about sales from our Super regional that year going to tornado victims in Alabama? What about the record for the largest pot of gumbo made and sold with all proceeds going to tornado victims? How about the multiple Red Cross stations set up around LSU's campus all baseball, summer, and football season?

Yeah, we are totally only doing this for SC because they're a bad team.

Wrong. We'd do the same for Bama. He is the prime example of how we know Bama wouldn't do shite for the other team in this situation, and why that fact has drawn out this insecure bashing of LSU's response and actions.

LSU isn't the only SEC institution to help USC and the SC communities following this storm. Is Bama one of the others? I don't think so.

Wow. I just read the first page of this thread and I'm embarrassed for the few posters that even considered this line of thought.

Grow up guys. I know most of y'all are young, but when you get older hopefully y'all will realize that humans help humans in times of need.

The OP and his buddies have disgraced themselves.

It's like the equivalent of Jeffrey Dahmer taking you to a 5 star restaurant and then lighting some candles back at his apartment.

I would think they would be. Their fanbase especially above all others. They've been through the worst of it.

Boy, you are the smart one, aren't you? Problem is, such a team is hard to find. Louisiana was touched by the outpouring of compassion from fans everywhere during Katrina. Compassion goes a little beyond football hoss. Evidently, you either have little or your just a jackass....tell u what...the tigers weren't so hungry for pig last year...but this year, a lot of little piglets will be squealing for their lives in dv...especially if they read crap like this. Grow up or go home. Surely, u don't represent good, decent arkansas fans. Of course, most ten year olds don;t.

You're so wrong....LSU may be a rival...but if this had happened to bama, Louisiana would reach out to you, win, lose or draw. What if the shoe were on the other foot? Would you reach out to LSU or are you just projecting how you would react by slamming LSU? You are in a minority...the good people of Bama would reach out to LSU as sure as LSU would reach out to them.

By the way, your streak comes to an end this year vs LSU...and we go up 10-7 in since the teams have met since 2000...just wait, you'll see.

p.s. LSU wins the next natty and leads bama in every category since 2000...record, west crowns, sec titles, national championship final games played...and tied at three each with national championships....may not happen this year...but it's coming...just wait...
