Honestly that might be too late for a decent seed. Only limited opportunities to get meaningful wins with LSU's schedule.

Yesterday I tried to compare Simmons to Tristan Thompson which didn't go over too well

Any comparison except LeBron is seen as a troll, flame, or an indication of your lack of basketball knowledge. People were upset at a Lamar Odom comp. An NBA all star was not good enough to compare to an 18 year old without a jump shot or a win vs a power five team to his name.

It was just a natural reaction to them leaving what was shaping up to be an excellent team.

To be fair, it doesn't seem like talent is the issue. It's an experience problem with some poor coaching sprinkled in
