Exactly.

It will take the tv money bubble popping for ADs to consider saying no to leveraged demands.

Good for sumlin, if he can hoodwink A&M out of that much and give them nothing in return, I'm not mad at him.

mindset to be an NFL player.

I believe sumlin could have contributed to that

Tyrann Mathieu didn't have the mindset to be an NFL player. Miles booted him from the team for internal failed drug tests (tested weekly) with no legal trouble while at LSU. He hit rock bottom and became a new man.

Who knows if it would have helped Jonny, but I doubt he was held accountable for his substance abuse at college station

Really want to make some quip about team vote, but in reality I completely agree with this. Can't imagine Miles or any other coach enabling a player as much as manziel was enabled at ATM. .

Sumlin got the "we beat Bama" contract.

That was a hell of an upset though. Sumlin had to have given them meth. That team played 10 straight games without a by week and whipped Bama's arse in their house. It helped that we almost beat them the previous week, I'm sure.

Last night it was crystal clear, Snyder was playing chess and Sumlin checkers. Snyder did what he always does, crush you with slow large QB runs then kick you in the balls by isolating his fastest player in a 1 on 1 defensive matchup when you cheat into the box to try to create A negative play. Then he game plans around your best defensive players. He allows your offense to do 1 thing well. He conceded the Z receiver and bet on your offensive coach out smarting themself by not staying on what worked which is what Sumlon did in crunch time by trying to run the stupid QB option in crunch time which Snyder was set up all game to eliminate.

That game was a carbon copy of our 2011 game against them at their place. Beyond frustrating. Sumlin will NEVER get it done at A&M because he isn't good enough in game.

Issue right now are the buyouts. Creating havoc.

Who was the person at tamu that got duped to guarantee his buyout? Is it thru the '19 season at 5 mil a year?

To be fair, playing in Sumlin's system at tamu made Johnny 8 Ball a first round pick. It was obvious from day one that he didn't have the tools, skills, or mindset to be an NFL player.

I think Kingsbury had more to do with that than Sumlin though.
