Regarding arguing about which RB is better...

...between Henry, Chubb, Fournette, or whomever else.
If the offensive line is opening holes, even a pedestrian back can pick up nice yardage. And if the Oline isn't opening holes, the RB isn't going anywhere, and it doesn't matter if Bo Jackson, Hershel Walker, or Jim Brown is lined up deep - the offensive line is who creates the space to run.
Sure, once space is created, the excellent RBs rise to the top and show what they can do with space. But it's simply asinine for posters on here to argue about "so-and-so RB is gonna dominate against so-and-so team" simply because he's an awesome RB.
If you wanna argue which team will or will not have success running the ball, then have a discussion about the Oline/Dline matchup. I'm a Bama fan, and I'll be the first to say that if our Oline doesn't create space, Henry isn't going anywhere. And the same goes for Fournette or anyone else. Similarly, if Bama's Dline is winning the line of scrimmage, then the best of opposing RBs will have a sh1t day.
Simply put, many of the arguments on this board are obviously taking place between folks who never played the game past peewee. Flame away.

Henry isn't even in the same conversation as Chubb and Leonard soooooooo yea.

LF7, NC27 and DH2 in that order but none of them are slouches. Problem for LSU and UGA is they are both one demential on offense while Bama is not.

so what you're saying is, you agreed Trent Richardson was overrated in college too

There's no need for an argument.
As of right now LF leads everyone else

Wow, OLines have to block well for RB's, therefore no RB can possibly be better than the other.

Fournette is by far and away the best of that group. With that said, HE WILL NOT abuse Bama's front 7 like he has other teams. If LSU's O-Line doesn't open up major lanes the LF7 will be in for a long day!!

I look forward to watching the battle between Leonard, LSU O-Line, and the BAMA D. One thing is for sure it is going to be a dog fight all game long!

1) None of the other LSU backs have broken off even a single, long TD run this year. The blocking is decent, but Fournette really is that much better than a normal, good back.
2) Henry is the #2 guy in my book (because he causes damage in addition to the yards he gets).
3) Stop making predictions on whether Bama's D-line will hold Fournette down. Fournette isn't human and Bama's D-line is superhuman. Us mere mortals can just wait for the show to arrive!

lol what?
UGA rushing: 244 ypg
UGA passing: 208 ypg
Alabama rushing: 199 ypg
Alabama passing: 244 ypg
why do you want to ignore how awful your quarterbacks looked against ole miss and monroe, while, at the same time, call UGA one dimensional because Lambert was awful last weekend.

Well, one of these definitely doesn't belong in this sentence. Can you circle it for the class?

There are times the RB makes the OL, not the other way around. Barry Sanders is a prime example.
Given the same OL vs the same DL, I think LF is the best of the group but not by as much as the LSU fanboys would have you believe.

Someone mad because their back runs a 4.7 and doesn't get the praise of Chubb and LF7?

How do you get that from it will be a battle all game long......
Seriously where did i even allude to saying that he will do that?

It's not LSU fanboys. He's the current NCAA rushing leader by 60 yards. He leads the SEC by 120 yards and he has 1 less game on his stat sheet. It's crazy that people don't take that into account.
